SVFLOOR-225

Selfleveling Multifunctional 100% Solid Epoxy Coating

Description:

  • The SVFLOOR-225 is a 2-component high gloss epoxy coating designed to be used in industrial floors and areas of wet process, which are exposed to constant water, grease and oil, as well as dairies, beverages, food industries, industrial kitchens, hangars, garages, among others.
  • In industrial floors dry process areas, such as food industries, textile industries, warehousing and storage areas, etc.
  • In areas where a high degree of asepsis is required, such as hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, operating rooms, etc.
  • In floors with high traffic areas, where falling tools and heavy equipments are common, such as in workshops, ramps, loading and unloading areas, etc.
  • In floors covering normal traffic areas requiring medium-high conditions of hygiene and sanitation as in shops, hospital corridors, restaurants, shopping centers, car dealerships, etc.
  • Easy preparation, mixing ratio 2:1.Excellent mechanical properties.
  • Good resistance to abrasion.
  • Good chemical resistance.
  • When required floors with higher chemical or mechanical strength, thesystem can be mixed with silica or quartz sand to make non-slip floors or mortars up to 8mm thick.
  • For applications over new concrete, it must have at least 28 days of draining in order to achieve its curing and resistance.
  • The maximum humidity of the substrate must be less than 4%.
  • In order to check humidity, a moisture meter may be used or apply the test of plastic. which consists of placing a piece of plastic on the surface for 24h. If condensation appears under the plastic, moisture or vaportransmission is present.
  • Substrates with greater than or equal to 4 % moisture need to use a vaporbarrier.
  • The surface must be clean, free of moisture, oil, grease and any foreign agent before applying a SVFLOOR system.
  • The SVFLOOR system may be applied by roller to epoxy, notched trowel, squeegee or (Squeegee) and spiked roller.
  • Pour into a clean, dry container, 2 parts of product A with 1 part of product B, strictly maintaining its proportions.
  • We recommend using a low-speed electric drill (300-400. Rpm).
  • Mix well to achieve homogeneity, for about 3 minutes.
  • To make non-slip coatings or epoxy mortars thicker consult ourtechnical department, to indicate the amount of silica or quartz sand required.
  • The SVFLOOR systems require 48 hours to reach its resistance.
  • Until then, we recommend that you use it only for pedestrian.
  • Do not apply SVFLOOR-225 over concrete less than 28 days frompourring.
  • Do not apply at temperatures below 41° F or above 90° F.
  • The relative humidity should be less than 90%.
  • Do not mix paint prepared with catalyst with new resin.
  • For any questions, please contact our technical department.
  • 500-600 gr./10sqf, if applied as a coating thickness of approximately 22-24 mils.
  • 800-1.000 gr./10sqf, if applied as non-skid coatings, approximately 1-2mm thickness.
  • 2 to 4 kg./10sqf, when it used in 3-8 mm mortars.
  • Yields will depend on the porosity of the surface to be coated. Werecommend the user to make a sample to determine the amount of product to be used in a more accurate manner.
