Technical Specifications

Epoxy Floor with Quartz is a 100% solids, 2 component double broadcast epoxy system using a decorative colored quartz aggregate and sealed with a protective top coat. This extremely durable and aesthetic floor consists of colored quartz being embedded and fused between product layers providing an appealing look and increased slip and abrasion resistance, making this floor one of the most commonly installed systems. It is a special designed for decorative applications, such as garage floors etc.

This epoxy and quartz broadcast anti-slip system, is applied at thicknesses between 1.5mm-3mm (1/16 - 1/8)" and designed to protect new or deteriorated floors. It provides excellent resistance against compression, abrasion, impacts and chemicals. It meets all kinds of requirements such as durability, performance as well as aesthetics. Seamless plinths are optional. This seamless coating offers an unlimited choice of color, and a smooth or non-slip finish can be achieved using very fine to very aggressive aggregates.

Primary ApplicationsAircraft hangars Pharmaceutical production areas Assembly areas Classrooms Refineries Waste treatment plants Laboratories Areas of light to heavy manufacturing Mechanical rooms Areas of high traffic circulation

AdvantagesContains 100% solids, allowing for interior applications without harmful odors Ideal for reinforcing concrete surfaces Provides a durable anti-slip and architectural finish Superior compression strength Impact resistant Impermeable and seamless Seamless coves can be shaped Dense surface resistant to bacteria and moisture and easy to clean Excellent adhesive properties, allowing for application on a wide variety of substrates May apply several layers on itself with excellent adhesion.
  • For applications over new concrete, it must have at least 28 days of draining in order to achieve its curing and resistance.
  • The maximum humidity of the substrate must be less than 4%.
  • In order to check humidity, a moisture meter may be used or apply the test of plastic. which consists of placing a piece of plastic on the surface for 24h. If condensation appears under the plastic, moisture or vapor transmission is present.
  • Substrates with greater than or equal to 4 % moisture need to use a vapor barrier.
  • Pour into a clean, dry container, 2 parts of product A with 1 part of product B, strictly maintaining its proportions.
  • We recommend using a low-speed electric drill (300-400. Rpm).
  • Mix well to achieve homogeneity, for about 3 minutes.
